Since its creation in 1996, OCCAM - Observatory on Digital Communication - in consultative status with UN ECOSOC (2005), has been collaborating with organizations, NGOs, academia, businesses and UN Departments to reach its mission, propose and concretely implement the suggestions resulting from the Infopoverty World Conferences and the Infopoverty Programme.
